I want to be a normal young woman living in America, sometimes. But I want other things more. All the time. I want to be spiritually and emotionally filled every day. I want to be loved and cuddled by a hundred children and never go a day without laughing.

Where does The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top 5 for sure!

What did you like best about this story?

This was easy to follow. Common sense when you think about it, but it is not obvious until you know more about the 5 languages.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The story that is told of the man that wants to leave his wife for his mistress. Then his mistress leaves him, and he is able to work with Dr. Chapman and his wife to repair the marriage. It is ends up being better than ever.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

In general, it made me realize that all of my relationships can benefit from this knowledge.

    Any additional comments?

Wonderful if you are struggling in your marriage or just looking to grow your marriage. It is short enough and absolutely worth the time. This would be a book I would recommend to all couples and esp individuals about to marry.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Untethered Soul to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print so I could not compare. But I LOVED this book. I listened to it twice in a row! And will listen to it again soon.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Untethered Soul?

Ask yourself why you are doing something, to find out your true motives for doing it. And that I am not my bad habbits. I am much greater than one single action. This book really helped me to open myself to all that I am and all that is around me.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

What part of my is being disturbed by the perceived problems? This is how I can 'fix' it. Allow for space between an event and my action. Take the seat of whitness and change my frame of refrenece. The world is not out to get me. Most people are moving through life unaware and reactive. Act with intentional awareness.

    Any additional comments?

This book is one that I will listen to over and over. It is probably the best of many self help books that I have read. It will allow you to be more free.

Two Christian parenting educators describe five ways we can connect with our children: physical touch, quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, and acts of service. These initiatives, when geared to the preferences of each child, make them feel loved and, thus, more receptive to guidance and redirection when needed. The authors are inspiring writers whose examples and quotes from children and parents are instructive.

"Have you ever felt caught between the tension of a day job and a dream job? That gap between what you have to do and what you’d love to do? I have. At first I thought I was the only one who felt that way, but then I started to talk to people and realized we’re becoming the “I’m, but” generation. When we talk about what we do for a living we inevitably say, 'I’m a teacher, but I want to be an artist.'"
