"Always finding out why the rules exist..."
...the hard way. Victor believes intelligence equals or surpasses wisdom. The story is a well written and very immaginative depictiin of what led the growing intellect, but lacking a moral compass, to tragedy.
"This is how a scary story gets told!"
I havent even finished, but the build up is great. Lots of tension and intrigue. Ever wonder what would happen if one of those GHOST HUNTERS organization ever actuslly ran into the REAL THING?
"Ridiculous@every point of the story!"
Basically Evil Bible thumping Greenie-Weenies seek to destroy the world. Try to imagine how idiotic a tale of Mad Hindus would seem, yet we are sold over and over in our culture the story that a people whose PRIMARY beliefs are Love their God and their neighbor seek the mass destruction of others. I know for certain that last time we met at my church in the Billions of dollars Bunker we like to sarcastically call THE HIVE, we agreed to put a new roof on our wee church, fix the heat/ac, and feed the poor.
Never mind that there is a religion of peace that publically declares a desire to bath the world in the blood of millons so that their messiah may return and their martyrs may recieve their 72 virginal rewards...maybe its just easier to kick sand in the face of a religion that turns the other cheek, instead of cutting your head off.
"One Primary Villian is the Evil Christian..REALLY?"
I stopped as soon as I got to the introduction of the Evil Christian, obedient, of course, to the voice of his Evil God. Personally I m sick of this tired cliched character in my books. I mean doesn t EVERYONE know by now that Christians boom songs about they B's&Ho s at their weekly services, dismissing the flock by popping a cap in another MFing parishner, or dress llike Demons and scream their drug induced hatred of God until they are so worked up that mutiple fights and stabbings breakout? Doesn t EVERYONE know this about Christians... I mean its in sooooo many books& movies?
"Tense interesting and believable."
IDK
Strongly written combat. What u might expect if Zombies were real. And the story grows with increasing danger yet does not become foolish.
No.
I laughed because author has a sharply sarcastic sense of humor.
Only drawback is that the main character over does his PTSD. U end up with an admirably tough whiner .
"Only gets a 4 bcause..."
Yes, tense, realisticly possible senerio.
See above.
Didn't aggravate the story.
No.
Didn't receive 5 for story bcause it was still typical bullets vs bodies; has no one heard of napalm, and what about tanks? No one ever explains how zombies defeat them wh teeth.
