I absolutely loved this book and the narrator. I listened to this book in 1 day, I was completely drawn in by the story. You will fall in love with the characters and find yourself rooting for them. The narrator was great, I listen to a lot of audio books and the narrator can really make or break a book. This narrator was perfect!

Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose during lunch at one of London’s fanciest restaurants. But when his big question involves a trip abroad, not a trip down the aisle, she’s completely crushed. So when Ben, an old flame, calls her out of the blue and reminds Lottie of their pact to get married if they were both still single at 30, she jumps at the chance. No formal dates - just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on Ikonos, the sun-drenched Greek island where they first met years ago. Their family and friends are horrified. Fliss, Lottie’s older sister, knows that Lottie can be impulsive - but surely this is her worst decision yet.

I love Sophie kinsella so I was excited about this book. Overall, it is very entertaining. The narrators were amazing! I still liked "can you keep a secret" better, but this was a fun book.

Sadie Hutchins loves her job at the Kentucky Tourism Commission. Not only could her co-workers double as the cast of Parks and Recreation, but she loves finding the unusual sites, hidden gems, and just-plain-odd tourist attractions of her home state. She’s a shoo-in for the director’s job when her boss retires at the end of the year…until hotshot Josh Vaughn shows up to challenge her for the position. Josh is all sophisticated polish while Sadie’s country comfort, and the two have very different ideas of what makes a good campaign.

I found this book got a little boring at times, I really could have taken a little more drama. There was a long period of time when Kierra and Kellan's relationship is described, but it was just everyday stuff. I found myself really waiting for something (anything) to happen. I just loved the first book, but this book was a bit of a yawner for me.

I loved this book. It was incredibly well written (great narrrator as well). This was the story of a mother struggling to help her daughter attain a healthy weight. The love she has for her daughter is evident. It is obvious that she wants what is best for her daughter. She has to navigate a tough path, she has to have some tough conversations, but ultimately it pays off. I thought this mother and daughter were incredibly brave to come forward with their story so that it might help/inspire others facing similar challenges.

What if charisma could be taught? For the first time, science and technology have taken charisma apart, figured it out and turned it into an applied science: In controlled laboratory experiments, researchers could raise or lower people's level of charisma as if they were turning a dial. What you'll find here is practical magic: unique knowledge, drawn from a variety of sciences, revealing what charisma really is and how it works. You'll get both the insights and the techniques you need to apply this knowledge. The world will become your lab, and every person you meet, a chance to experiment.

"Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness… He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires."

I never did finish this book. This book seems to jump right in with the sex, before the characters even know each other. I just don't feel like there is enough character development. It just feels like sex, without something deeper, feels a little empty for me. I keep waiting and waiting for some geniune connection between the two characters besides sex, but it just isn't happening. I am tired of waiting, I am giving up on this one.

I listen to a lot of books, and I can't remember listening to a book that I laughed out loud as much as I did with this one. The book is funny and charming, the characters are loveable. I loved the narrator, I thought she did a great job. In fact, I rarely write reviews and usually only for books I really love. I just thought this book got it right, with both the story and the narrator. I found it hard to put down. I highly recommend!
