I would try another book from Courtney Milan as long as it was not narrated by Quinn
Not sure there is a comparison.
Definitely not, slow to the point of being boring
The book yes but hampered by the narrator.
The storyline held my interest because there were things to be discovered about the divorce and the ex-husband. Since you found out things throughout the story you were always on alert.
Since this was the last of 3 books in the series, I stuck it out. First 2 books were narrated by Alan Ormond who did a wonderful job. This last book had a different narrator who was awful. She could not do a male voice at all and the women sounded like shrews. Ruined the book for me.
Another great story but I just can not say enough about the narrator. He makes everything come alive. His voice in the tender scenes is wonderful.
This book was an unexpected pleasure. Just enough twists and turns to hold my interest. The narrator was wonderful and gave the characters more meaning.
Worst narrator ever. Story was good but hard to get through due to narrator. Shame the author is saddled with her.
Though it was like a fairy tale it was a delightfully warm story. The narrator was very good with the voices of the different characters.
The story was okay but the narration was so bad it took away from the story. All of the men sounded like they were very old and their voices were hard to identify.
A very good read. The most memorable moment was the final birthday surprise.
Would recommend this book as well as others by Eloisa James.
Just loved it
Though the book was long, it kept my attention with its twists and turns. Characters coming from very different lifestyles and struggling to understand one another.
The book would have been nothing without his amazing performance. To bring to life the struggles of Christian, his labored speech, his anger with himself and others, you would not have been able to understand the story without him.
It made me mad not laugh or cry. The way Christian was treated by everyone except Maddie truly made me mad.
It is difficult to imagine soldiers in battle or heated love scenes or anything else when all of the characters sound like a 12 year old girl.
If it was narrated by someone else.
