Would you consider the audio edition of The Marriage List to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio edition because a story set in historical England should be in the language to get the effect.

What other book might you compare The Marriage List to and why?

None that I can think of.

What three words best describe Janean Jorgensen’s performance?

    a good touch

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No

Cascade Bennett shattered her dreams only last summer, and now he plans to kidnap her and haul her into the wilderness with a bunch of outlaws...for her own protection? If you could sum up Flowers from the Storm in three words, what would they be?

    Just loved it

What did you like best about this story?

Though the book was long, it kept my attention with its twists and turns. Characters coming from very different lifestyles and struggling to understand one another.

What about Nicholas Boulton’s performance did you like?

The book would have been nothing without his amazing performance. To bring to life the struggles of Christian, his labored speech, his anger with himself and others, you would not have been able to understand the story without him.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me mad not laugh or cry. The way Christian was treated by everyone except Maddie truly made me mad.

    Any additional comments?

    Excellent book.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It is difficult to imagine soldiers in battle or heated love scenes or anything else when all of the characters sound like a 12 year old girl.

Would you be willing to try another book from Susanna Fraser? Why or why not?

If it was narrated by someone else.

Would you be willing to try another one of Camme Tyla’s performances?

    Absolutely not.

Did An Infamous Marriage inspire you to do anything?

    No
