"great story, lackluster narration"
I would read another by this author, I would avoid this narrator. His narration was only bearable at 1.5 to 2 times the regular narration speed.
Truly inspiring, informative story.

Yes.
Please redo with a different narrator.
"This series is a masterpiece for all ages!"
If we count the whole series as one, it is definitely in the top 5!
He did a brilliant job on all of them--I couldn't stop listening, and neither could the kids!
I devoured the whole series, and was sad to finally reach the end.
This is a great book for adults and for children--a great book to share and discuss!
"Light mystery with a beautiful story of Africa"
The narration and the glimpses into the beautiful culture and people of Africa.
the positive self-image and positive representation of Botswanan women.
Her accents and subtle vocal inflections brought more to this audiobook than I would have gotten from reading it.
"One of my all-time favorites!"
I didn't read the print version, but I immensely enjoyed the narration--it was perfectly paced, with all of the characters distinct and full of life.
With such an immense work, it is impossible to choose. I absolutely loved the whole book and lost a lot of sleep because I couldn't stop listening!
Mr. Lee brought so much life to the characters, as well as subtle detail in the dialogues and narratives that I might have overlooked had I read it to myself silently.
A breathtaking journey into the darkest and brightest times of the Middle Ages.
I highly recommend this book--it is one of the best that I have ever read or listened to.
"great historical romance!"
Yes, because it is romantic, the heroine is strong yet believable for the time period, and the representations of gypsy traditions are respectful and not overdone.
It's a toss-up between the steamy scenes and the interjections of historical facts, but it's actually just the really well-written "encounters".
they were all very well done, with fantastic, distinct changes of accent and voice for the different characters.
No, but I really liked it and will listen to it again some time.
