What a series....truly emotional (I cried and smiled). I felt exhausted after listening to this book, I enjoyed every minute. The narration was wonderful...Carolyn McCormick's voice fit the book style perfect.

Car mechanic Mercy Thompson has always known there was something different about her, and not just the way she can make a VW engine sit up and beg. Mercy is a shapeshifter, a talent she inherited from her long-gone father. She's never known any others of her kind. Until now.

    Yuriko says: "Love it"
"Ok but not as good as the others :("
    Overall

This book was good, I just enjoyed the first five much more. The beginning was great, but then after Mercy and Adam for their honeymoon it felt as if I were starting a new series (new characters, new problems etc) I enjoyed finding out about her heritage but I would have liked the book to have included more of Samuel, the wolf pack, "Z" and Stephan.

Mechanic Mercy Thompson has friends in low places - and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favor. Since she can shapeshift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind. But this new vampire is hardly ordinary - and neither is the demon inside of him.

    Deborah says: "Blood Bound"
"Wonderful series...can't wait for number 7"
    Overall

These books are all very well written with just enough mystery, action, and romance. If you are a fan of sookie stackhouse or night huntress books you will love these. I have listened to all of them in less than two weeks.

I am a fan of the Immortal Instruments series and was not disappointed with this book. I gave it 4 stars because the start was a bit slow. I can't wait until the next book. Good narration.

Hathaway is this close to graduation. Since Mason's death, Rose hasn't been feeling quite right. She has dark flashbacks in the middle of practice, can't concentrate in class, and has terrifying dreams about Lissa. But Rose has an even bigger secret . . . .She's in love with Dimitri. And this time, it's way more than a crush.

Mitch says: "This Series Keeps Getting Better"
"Richelle Mead 5 stars Narrator 3 stars"
    Overall

I loved this entire series, I started rereading them and found that I didn't have enough time so I downloaded this one....the story is still great but the narration is horrible (I usually never complain). This narrator sounds so superficial, the main character Rose should sound tough and able to handle anything...this narrator sounds like she wants to head to the mall instead of fight strigoi. I downloaded book 4...the narrator was much better. I still love Richelle Mead and can't wait for the last book.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

    Denise says: "What a HOOT!!!!!!!"
    "WOW!!! Love this series :)"
    Overall

I downloaded and listened to all three books in this series in one week. My house was very clean. At first I thought that it might not be my kind of book. It picked up pace and I enjoyed it very much. Then I downloaded two and three and they were just as good.
