"Trilling Story"
Absolutely - some Harry Bosch stories can be a little slow. This tale was fast paced, loved the changes in scenery and the new characters. If you liked Taken I have a feeling you will like this book.
Racing through HK to find his daughter
Great work, the narrator told the story in such a way you that you were able to be absorbed into the story!
absolutely - I won't mention in case of spoiling the story but book definitely left me thinking
This is not a normal Harry Bosch title, even if you have tried one of these before & didn't love it - give Connelly another try with this book!
"Attention grabbing - hang ups holding it back"
I would & will listen again and have recommend this story to family. Would definitely say my favourite thus far of Adrian D'Hage's would have to be Beijing Conspiracy & I do hope that we are treated to another title of this calibre. My only hesitation in giving this top marks is the hang up with the Church and the bishop abuse of kids. It made sense in Omega scroll but I now fear its detracting from the story and I have found it hard to pick up the next half of this series, Inca Prophecy, given this dark cloud that seems to hang over all titles.
"Brilliantly written & narrated"
This was my first Belinda Alexandra book & I am so very impressed I have gotten into her other titles. For me this book gives me strength, no matter what life throws at you, it is nothing the strong girl in this book & her friends are dealt don't take within their stride. A gripping tale of a young Ophan living through the horrors of being wrongly accused in the age of fascism and surviving the war through the eyes of the Florentine Italians. Your credit will not be wasted with this great story.
"Love the story, Love the narrator"
Terrific story, couldn't wait to read the next book.... didn't realise the narrator changes for the forth. Edwina is an excellent narrator for this series. In this book you cringe, remember this character is a teen, but character development is strong and no one is perfect. A good listen if you have enjoyed the first two.
"Action, Adventure & race to save the world"
Its a Matthew Riley, cross with Indiana Jones, cross with Dan Brown and even though i haven't quite finished it i'm already looking for another book by this great author... stick with it through the changing time zones because written any other way i think it would be a little boring up front but then too packed with action at the end - instead this is a great story, great character development and always enjoyable as you are taken on a great journey!
