Big magic and over the top fights. This book kept me interested from beginning to end. I enjoyed the quotes at the beginning of the chapters it really showed the difference between our reality and the book. I can't wait for the next book and if your smart you will definitely keep the narrator he rocks!
Although narrator did not change recently some of the voices sound different such as Ethan and Jonah it was hard to differentiate between the two characters. The story was good enough for me to recommend it and fit in well with the series and I have already downloaded the next story.
Enjoyable listen but a bit slow at times. It's always enjoyable hearing about the Dempsey family and finally getting to meet dad.
Enjoyed storyline had some laugh out load moments although at times the story was slow going. I would recommend this book.
Book was okay but was there a reason for the change in pronunciation of certain names is it because of the new narrator?
Overal the story was good. I enjoyed the story but all the bad language was not necessary based on that I am not sure about buying the rest of the series
The narrator's accents were all over the place which distracted from the story. Other than that story was just okay.
I really enjoyed this story I will be listening to the entire series. It deals of course with friendship and with each person's character. What I found most interesting was the intellect of the main characters to survive the jester's trap. I definitely recommend.
I liked the story but the were some loose ends and Matthew leaving for New Orleans seemed contrived. My biggest disappointment was with the narration why the changes of voices for some of the characters. Overall I gave it 4 stars because it was still a good storyline.
Shadow of Night was slowed down by the historical meandering so it was not as interesting as Discovery of Witches but I can see where some of this information was necessary. I did miss the quick witted conversation between Dianna and Matthew but the introduction of some of the new characters made up for it. I would recommend this book it was a continuation and pick up exactly where the first book ended.
I liked the story and stayed up late in order to finish it but I did not like the narrator she sounds as though she is bored and her performance suffers.
