Big magic and over the top fights. This book kept me interested from beginning to end. I enjoyed the quotes at the beginning of the chapters it really showed the difference between our reality and the book. I can't wait for the next book and if your smart you will definitely keep the narrator he rocks!

The narration was so terrible I could not enjoy the story. Ever time I was getting into the story Mr. Wilson swollowed irrating me so much I became distracted. I will never buy another audiobook George Wilson is narrating! I primarily paid to listen the narrator's body functions!

Giving this novella for free was a stroke of genus. The charaters are interesting and the story keeps you listening, although some of the scenes were a bit gory. I fully intend to listen to the entire series. Thanks audible for the free book and a new author to follow!

Not my usual reading material but I needed a break and decided to give this book a listen. Boy, am I glad I did! Amelia is opinionated, outspoken and her thoughts on men are amusing and not to be literal. The countryside descriptions may seem long winded but are colorful and superb give a good idea of the country. It was enjoyable and the sexual passages compared to most modern books was easy for all family members to listen. As for the story itself it was interesting and pulled me in and I have already downloaded the next book in the series. Last but definitely not least the narrator Barbara Rosenblat is excellent and adds to the books.

If you want a book to read for enjoyment and no heavy mental gyrations then this book is for you. It's light and entertaining.

I totally enjoyed the story and found some parts laugh out loud funny. Would recommend.

SLJ was the perfect person to read this story! For those of us who have children we have ALL thought this at one time or another.

THIS IS NOT PERCY JACKSON SO GET OVER IT! I don't understand this is a new series and an a goob book what more do you want?
