As the new story begins, Leeds and his "aspects" are hired by I3 (Innovative Information Incorporated) to recover a corpse stolen from the local morgue. But there's a catch. The corpse is that of a pioneer in the field of experimental biotechnology, a man whose work concerned the use of the human body as a massive storage device. He may have embedded something in the cells of his now dead body. And that something might be dangerous.

I thought the first book Legion was fantastic and was hoping for another installment and boy this sequel did not disappoint! It may have been only 4 hours 23 minutes long but there was a lot of action, technology, and some fun thrown in to make this a very exciting sequel. The interaction between Leeds and his aspects keep the plot moving but also the interaction with the aspects and other characters in the story makes for a very entertaining story. I throughly enjoyed J C's time ranger theory explaining his presence among the aspects. I am certainly a fan of Brandon Sanderson and Oliver Wyman and together they make a kick butt team keep up the good work. Once again I am hoping and praying for another installment. Thanks audible for the wonderful price FREE!

Every desperate housewife wants an alias. Donna Stone has one - and it happens to be government-sanctioned. But Donna earned it the hard way: Her husband was killed the day she delivered their third child. To avenge her husband's murder, Donna leads a secret life as an assassin. But espionage makes for strange bedfellows, and brings new meaning to that old adage, "Honey, I'm home...."

Yes, I would recommend this story it may be hard to believe but this was a lighthearted story with some funny scenes and some slapstick thrown in for good measure. Don't get me wrong there were some very dark moments in the book which should be expected because of the subject matter but they do not detract from the story. The plot twist changes the story dramatically and leads right into the next book. As the story progressed I really became interested in what happened to Donna and her kids. I liked the music and helpful hints at the beginning of each chalpter. I enjoyed the narrator I think she added to the lightheartedness of the audio. I am eagerly awaiting the entire series on audible. Sorry for the briefness of this review but it was hard to write without including any spoilers.

At first I was not sure how I felt about the story at times it was repetitive and predictable. I stuck with it and now I am looking forward to hearing the next book. It ended at a place where I was so into the storyline that it left me wanting to know what happens next and to me that makes for a good book. At first I thought the book was good against evel but that is not the whole of it. It's also about trust and love and what you would sacrific for it. I did like the fact that the story was not filled with a lot of descriptive sex scenes. I liked both narrators and how they brought a good first person perspective to the storyline, please keep them.

For Rose Gardner, working at the DMV on a Friday afternoon is bad even before she sees a vision of herself dead. She's had plenty of visions, usually boring ones like someone's toilet's overflowed, but she's never seen one of herself before. When her overbearing momma winds up murdered on her sofa instead, two things are certain: There isn't enough hydrogen peroxide in the state of Arkansas to get that stain out, and Rose is the prime suspect.

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The book yes this audio NO! The narrator was terrible. I am so sorry I pre-ordered this story I won't be doing that again without checkng who's narrating.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I usually like Annabeth but thanks to this narrator I had no favorite character because it was very hard to listen to the story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

First he has no range for the different characters everyone sounded the same because all he did was read and he sounded bored no matter what was happening in the story. I am seriously considering returning this audio and buying the book which is why the overall rating was 3 instead of 5.

Could you see The House of Hades being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    I haven't given it a thought.

    Any additional comments?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go back to Joshua Swanson or try Jessie Bernstein. After waiting all this time to hear this story it was a major let down and I will never buy another audio where Nick Chamian is the narrator.

A twisted tale of murder in the world of big-stakes bass fishing tournaments. Filled with ex-wives, evangelists, and an armed pit-bull, this is a story that could only be concocted by Carl Hiaasen, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, New York Times best-selling author, and czar of Florida noir fiction.

Not my usual reading material but I needed a break and decided to give this book a listen. Boy, am I glad I did! Amelia is opinionated, outspoken and her thoughts on men are amusing and not to be literal. The countryside descriptions may seem long winded but are colorful and superb give a good idea of the country. It was enjoyable and the sexual passages compared to most modern books was easy for all family members to listen. As for the story itself it was interesting and pulled me in and I have already downloaded the next book in the series. Last but definitely not least the narrator Barbara Rosenblat is excellent and adds to the books.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.
