I picked this book becuase my daughter's book club was reading it. I thought it was EXCELLENT! Great writing and great narrating. The characters are so life like. Some of the book will break your heart but it is well worth the read.
All this book talked about was how Remy lusted after Brook in steamy details. I kept listening hoping a plot or storyline would develop but no. I stopped listening. Wait a waste!
This being the third book in the series, why did you switch narrators? The original narrator, a male. This one, a female, was hard to listen to. She enunciates at the end of each word.
The interaction of the characters.
Her enunciation of the last word in each sentence. IT started to get on my nerves.
I truly enjoy this series but I found this one a bit too graphic. Usually the murders have already been committed when Lt. Dallas shows up to solve. This one the reader had to live through the violence.
The voices of the characters - Amazing!
I coundn't even fiinish it. What the heck was going on with this sotry? Call me a realist but I don't see what's so fascitnating about a recently widowed man seeing items glow red and pulsate. Odd......
This book will have all of your emotions working but it is well worth it! I picked it because it takes place in Southport where I have visited but ended up loving every word.
I didn't make it through this one. Hard to believe it is a classic.
P.S. Tim, your interpretation of the female voice is NOT good.
If you are looking for a quick read and a good story, this one fits the bill.
This was not my favoirte Jodi Picoult book. It focused too much on religious issues for me. Good ending.
I really enjoyed this book. I was looking for a light read and found the perfect match. I even listened to it a second time. Couldn't get enough of Blue and Dean.
This is the ONLY audible book I didn't finish. I just couldn't get the connection of the stories.
