"Searching for the right words....."
I bought this becuase it was on sale and thought I would give it a try. I enjoyed the interaction of the 2 main characters and the storyline. I did think it was way too long and it went in to too many details about dog training (which I have to admit that I picked up a few pointers). Not bad.
"Too wierd for me"
I coundn't even fiinish it. What the heck was going on with this sotry? Call me a realist but I don't see what's so fascitnating about a recently widowed man seeing items glow red and pulsate. Odd......
"Loved it!"
This book will have all of your emotions working but it is well worth it! I picked it because it takes place in Southport where I have visited but ended up loving every word.
"UGH"
I didn't make it through this one. Hard to believe it is a classic.
P.S. Tim, your interpretation of the female voice is NOT good.
"Quick Read"
If you are looking for a quick read and a good story, this one fits the bill.
"Fair"
This was not my favoirte Jodi Picoult book. It focused too much on religious issues for me. Good ending.
"Charming"
I really enjoyed this book. I was looking for a light read and found the perfect match. I even listened to it a second time. Couldn't get enough of Blue and Dean.
"What?"
This is the ONLY audible book I didn't finish. I just couldn't get the connection of the stories.
"The point?"
The first part is a mother describing the many details of her life to include morning breakfst, holidays, soccer practices, etc. I kept wondering where this book was going. Then fainlly , the unthinkable happened and again, more deatails. Not enough excitement for me.
"One of the Best"
I picked this book becuase my daughter's book club was reading it. I thought it was EXCELLENT! Great writing and great narrating. The characters are so life like. Some of the book will break your heart but it is well worth the read.
"Not Bad"
At first it was hard for me not to listen to Judith Light and think of her as Angela on "Who's the Boss" or the Judge on "Law and Order" but after a while, I got used to it. This book showed that all families have issues, even wealthy political ones. Very explicit sex scenes.
