Within the twisted wreckage a cache of bones is found. Bones that are inscribed with ancient Greek, letters that identify the remains as those of John the Baptist — along with a promise to guide the seeker to the tomb of the Savior himself.Tasked with untangling this millennia-old mystery, Dr. Rebecca Monroe, a paleoarchaeologist, and Special Forces sergeant Vincent Brandt are hounded across three continents as they attempt to piece together the bones’ clues.

A fairly fast paced book with good characters and an unusual, but entertaining plot. I really enjoyed listening and thought the narrator did a good job.

It was just another after-work happy-hour bar downtown, where business professionals unwound with a few drinks, complained about the boss, maybe hooked up with someone for the night. Until something went terribly wrong. At first it was just a friction in the air. The noise intensified. The crowd seemed oppressive. Some sharp words were exchanged, some pushing and shoving. Then the madness descended. And after 12 minutes of chaos and violence, 80 people lay dead.

Since I've listened to all of these books, its a given I enjoy them. There wasn't much new as far as characters and the plot was familiar. I'd love it if the author would add new and different twists to this series.

I bought this on one of the specials Audible offers and was really glad I did. It was a fast paced book I really enjoyed. I'd read more by this author and that's the highest praise I can give.

A music therapist who thrives on helping others, Kendra Michaels cherishes the ordinary life she has achieved after stem cell surgery restored her sight. The skills she perfected during those sightless years - the ability to pick up the most subtle audio, olfactory, and tactile cues in the world around her - coupled with her laser-sharp mind - have made her a uniquely potent observer and problem solver. Kendra’s uncanny way of connecting the dots is as baffling to law enforcement as it is legendary.

What was most disappointing about Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen ’s story?

This is a very slow book. The narrator did a good job with the story but I believe this is one of the weakest books written by the Johansens.
