What did you like about this audiobook?

YES, and ALREADY HAVE. IT'S A GREAT STORY WITH NEW IDEAS AND HILARIOUS. I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CAN HAVE A MEGA RICH GOOD GUY OVERLOAD WHO USED COMMON SENSE TO GET RICH AND IS A SOUTHERN U.S. SIFI WRITER WHO DUE TO THE SITUATION OF FIRST CONTACT LOSES JOB AND GETS POOR THEN FOR THE SAME BASIC REASON BECOMES THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD AND BECOMES AN "EVIL OVERLOAD" WITH A LAYER AND EVERYTHING.
IT IS A MUST READ 3 BOOK SERIES FOR ANY SPACE SCI-FI LISTENER OR READER.
    ITS AWESOME!

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

    Troy's real reason for being.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

He does a GREAT job with the Hicks with his voice and real feeling of reactions and inflections. The South or Krebs have " They're ways" haha.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Yes, When MR. TYLER VERNON DEALS WITH THE BEGINNING "Dragons Tears "AND HOW HE HANDLES THE OWNERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION OF THE OTHER OWNERS OF DRAGONS TEARS AKA MAPLE SYRUP. SO FUNNY.

Do you have any additional comments?

This story has bad and good as well as laugh and cry..
But is a terribly cool outlook on first contact if your Tyler Vernon or Steve. Oh and I will laugh every time I see or eat Maple Syrup. Haha.

"'You knew they were there, didn't you?' Kahlan asked in a hushed tone as she leaned closer. Against the darkening sky, she could just make out the shapes of three black-tipped races taking to wing, beginning their nightly hunt. That was why he'd stopped. That was what he'd been watching as the rest of them waited in uneasy silence."

    Story
Where does Naked Empire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is among this great story with Richard & Kahlan. It's needed for the story but it's kind of
Redundant and some parts are obvious and long winded awaiting that NEW Piece of the puzzle, But this one rates about in the middle of my favorite in the season.
The sisters of the Dark and the light I guess seem to be very deep on the bench, I guess there were more of those sisters than I originally thought.

What other book might you compare Naked Empire to and why?

Any other of MR. Goodkind's books.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Probably when Richard destroyed all of those guy's in the desert all at once.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No

    Any additional comments?

It's ok but a must have in the series.

What made the experience of listening to Phantom the most enjoyable?

This is the 10th Book out of the 11+ book Story of the Seeker which is a great Story which is an Addictive Original Story. If you like Sci-Fi Fantansy with Magic and the like; This series is a MUST HAVE starting with The Wizard's First Rule, The Sword of Truth. There is a TV series of which both are good.
Terry Goodkind is a great writer with original writing, he may be a little long winded but is well worth every penny and or credit.

I like these type of books and always have but this is one of my favorite of all-time. I am 40 years of age and Love Jim Butcher's Dresden File, Love Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles and this ranks right up there with them.

I totally Recomend All of Terry Goodkind's Books, I think Book 2 or 3 is the one where the narrarator messed up the names and pronounced everything wrong and made a mess out the Audio book but it was still a good story, Thank goodness they corrected this mistake on the next book.
This is a must have to any self respecting Sci-Fi Fantasy Reader/Listener.
Terry Goodkind is a master story teller!

What other book might you compare Phantom to and why?

    There is no comparison!

What does Sam Tsoutsouvas bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is a Very Good Narrarator in which a bad one can screw the whole thing up. No problem with this guy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes and Almost did!

    Any additional comments?

Mr. Goodkind is a bit long winded but kicks butt with a Great Story and characters you learn to Love.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

The Dresden Files with a much lighter note & no magical overlapping.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is the master of all the voices in any book. Probably the single best i've ever heard, Whatever he is getting paid it isn't enough.

    Oberon the dog.

    Any additional comments?

The series is Great. I was an avid Anne Rice Fan, Then Jim Butcher enthusiast, Now I cannot wait for the next Kevin Hearne Audio book and Luke and Oberon, not to forget the Clever Girl.
