Somewhere, deep inside the United States government, is a deadly list. Members of Congress never get to see it and only the president has the final say over it. Once your name is on the list, it doesn't come off - until you're dead. Someone has just added counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath's name to the list. Somehow, Harvath must evade the teams dispatched to kill him long enough to untangle who has framed him and why they want him out of the way.

What made the experience of listening to Black List the most enjoyable?

enjoyable because the situation of power being abused often occurs in more ways than one....

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the moment that moved me was when book explained that innocent people can be seen as guilty ,,,even when they not. and some time the limited options to clear their name when the reasons are fabricated can be hell and life changing.

Through 14 books, listeners have been fed short rations when it comes to Kinsey Millhone's past. This time, Grafton feeds you an entire feast, including the juice about Kinsey's first husband!

wow.wow.wow. I listen to audio books constantly while driving long distances....and this book was hard to stop listening too, I had to get to the finish...it was so enjoyable. I think it will be hard for other books to live up to this one. Very discriptive,it was like being there. I will be listening to it again...over the next few weeks.

Police detective Harry Lyon is a perfectionist who likes his files error-free. To Harry's dismay, his partner, Connie Gulliver, embraces chaos, urging him to "get in touch with the rhythms of destruction." But when Harry and Connie have to kill in the line of duty, the ensuing surreal nightmare makes Connie's cynical world view seem all too accurate.

definitely not a book for those who are not used to other authors such as Steven King.. as it runs along similar lines... book was slow to start... but definitely wanted to hear the end.. the author gives such a clear description its like being an on-looker to the people he writes about. as long as the reader can seperate reality and what they are reading it is a book worth reading or listening too as I did.Enjoy!
