Before I became "Phil Town, teacher of investing principles to more than 500,000 people a year", I was a lot like you: someone who viewed individual stock investing as way too hard to do successfully. As a guy who barely made a living as a river guide, I considered the whole process pretty impenetrable, and I was convinced that to do it right you had to make it a full-time job. Me, I was more interested in having full-time fun.

Very optimistic view that paints a pink picture... but if you read enough on the topic elsewhere you will easily realize that Rule #1 is just a fantasy.

It seems that weight loss and getting into shape is a universal goal for the majority of people in North America. One way to lose weight and get into shape for once and for all is through a serious running program. How to Start a Running Routine and Become a Confident Runner. Running, along with walking, are exercises that you can begin fairly quickly and easily. Notice that we didn't say that weight loss would be easy to accomplish, but then nothing worthwhile ever is.

When anyone can start a business (when everyone is running their career like a business), it begs a question. This is your one chance at life, you can have anything you want, what is worth doing? Most people don't know why they're doing what they're doing. They imitate others, go with the flow, and follow paths without making their own. They spend decades in pursuit of something that someone convinced them they should want, without realizing that it won't make them happy. Anything You Want is a manifesto about living life, appreciating enough, and doing what matters.

An entertaining illumination of the stupid beliefs that make us feel wise. You believe you are a rational, logical being who sees the world as it really is, but journalist David McRaney is here to tell you that you're as deluded as the rest of us. But that's OK - delusions keep us sane. You Are Not So Smart is a celebration of self-delusion. It's like a psychology class, with all the boring parts taken out, and with no homework. Based on the popular blog of the same name, You Are Not So Smart collects more than 46 of the lies we tell ourselves everyday.

To find a book that points out how bugged is your cognitive system without really annoying you is always a great find. Well written and very well presented.
However, if you are already familiar with some cognitive biases, heuristics and fallacies you will find some chapters "old news"... that is how exhaustive it is!
