I love this series. It has just been getting better and better.
The Doctors backstory.
All of them, But I am loving Angel more and more, oh and the Doctor and Kyle and "Pierce" and Jane…..
I laughed constantly through the book, however I cried as well a couple of times.
Lorelei King is amazing and really makes the characters come alive. I have listened to everything she has read. Also Darynda Jones just has a gift for writing a Great story and making you laugh.
Everything. I adore these books. I haven't laughed so much in awhile while listening to a book. Probably the last time i laughed so hard was with her last book.
All the characters of course.
I laughed and laughed, I was ironing and I had to stop because I was laughing so hard at one point. I love it.
Thank you both Darynda Jones and Lorelei King for doing such a great job.
The first and second books were a fun listen however by the third and fourth book I wanted to scream because half of those books were the first two relived in her memory or thoughts.
It started to also become very irritating to hear the phrase "Get Dead" in every other sentence also where her knives were located... Legs, arms, back OKAY we get it.
She is suppose to be this fantastic assassin but she can't seem to assassinate anyone without being horrible hurt. I could keep going on, I was very disappointed how the book was written or rather how it was pretty much the first two books revamped a little.
Needless to say this is my last listen to this series, If you want a fun read that the characters grow try: Darynda Jones both of her book series are amazing, one for teens the other for adults. Karen Marie Moning " The fever series" and one of my all time favorite " The poison Study" from Maria Snyder.
I have listened to all four of the Charley Davidson books and have enjoyed them immensely, I have no patients with having to wait to see what happens next, dang it:) But book five is almost here Thank goodness!!! And of course I adore Lorelei King, She reads a couple more of my favorite authors. Patricia Briggs- Mercy Thomas series, Janet Evanovich-Stephanie Plum series.
I am so glad I found this series because some one wrote a review on the one of the Patricia Briggs books and said her name and how much they enjoyed her so whomever it was ( I can't remember) Thank you. If I could give these books ten stars I would they keep You laughing, intrigued, interested, and wanting more, THANK YOU SO MUCH Darynda Jones for having a great imagination.
The story was everything I know Karen Robards to be as a writer, The slight lisp of the narrator was annoying because the main characters name was Sam which sounded like Stham, However I could have gotten over it if the narrator had different voices for different characters. Overall GREAT STORY just couldn't get over the bad read.
Where Sam and her boy had to get out of the house.
Not now, I dont know if she is a new reader but if she is I will be willing to listen to another after she has gotten a few books done and has a grasp on how to make the characters stand out.
Read more of Karens books:)
Definitely!! Fantastic Series, I did recommend it and have people reading it now.
I loved the story and all of it was memorable but I truly liked how she got out of prison.
YES!!!! I was listening to it as I drove to work, went grocery shopping, anytime I could get to actually.
Fantastic Author and Narrator Thank you so much for a great Listen!!!
Yes, I found the book to be very interesting, I loved the history and getting to know the characters.
Diane of course as well as Matthew and Marcus... and Em and Sarah,Izabol, Hamesh, the House... Okay all of the Characters were fantastic!!
No I haven't however I will be looking for her, She did a dynamic job with voices and made you visualize everything.
The part about Matthews past that Izabol told... don't want to give to much away but I think Diane understood him more because of it.
It was a great story that pulled me in and kept me listening, The performer was absolutely terrific and I can't wait to listen to the second book!!
It was interesting
Yes, I really enjoy Karen Robards
When they were in the woods.
Not really I enjoyed it however.
I adored how You were never sure about the main male character, You had to figure it out on your own wether or not he was, what they said he was. I think not. ( Spoiler ) Karen Robards tells you in the book he gets disgusted by what he see's if he really was a killer, I would hedge a bet that he would have enjoyed what was going on rather than being appalled. Loved the book.
To many to count. Had me looking behind me on the way out of the house and making sure there wasn't a serial killer.
She made the Characters stand out and I knew their voices and emotions.
All I will say because I don't want to give to much away was when she has the candle and the incense. I was begging her to stop but could understand why she was doing it.
I even bought the book for my sister so she could read it as well just so we could have discussions about it. I highly recommend the book!!! If you want a little paranormal, a little love interest, some laughs and a whole lot of shivers up your spine, this is the book to get!
