Two short stories, both involving one of Selena Kitt’s most well known families – the Baumgartners. I was first introduced to them in Babysitting the Baumgartners, and I can’t get enough of these books! Both stories are ménage (mff) and both are smoking hot. You don’t have to have read any of the other Baumgartner series to listen to these (but I’d recommend it, anyway, they’re all good) but I wouldn’t listen in polite company, because these two stories are truly too sexy for words!
I love stories of married couples and this is a great one. As long as you're not creeped out by anal sex (because that's the focus here and there's a lot of it!) you're going to love this book. Great chemistry and every chapter is hotter than the last one. Just a warning - don't listen in a crowded place. This is more of a private sort of listen, if you know what I mean!
This was my least favorite book of the series (and I seem to be in the majority). The third in the Hunger Games trilogy ended a little predictably for me, and lacked the imagination of detail of the first, or even the second. Even given that, though, the series was a good one, far better than most of what's being published out there today!
This is a great book, second in the Hunger Games series. Meant for young adults, but grown-ups can take away far more from this smart series. Collins does a good job of setting up a world where government control is a force to be reckoned with and the rise of rebellion in this second book is developed very well. It's a solid bridge to the last in the series.
This is a great book, a tale meant for young adult readers, but everyone can get something from this. Katniss is a solid heroine, thrown into her role by chance, and the world Collins builds is eerily realistic, even if it takes place in a post apocalyptic future. The only thing that felt forced to me was the romantic triangulation. Perhaps an editor thought it best to follow and cash in on the Twilight saga format? Regardless, a politically charged, horrifying tale that leaves us with plenty of warning for future generations. Best book of the series!
If you like the Baumgartners, you’re going to love this book. Takes us back to Carrie and Doc’s early days and how they got involved in threesomes in the first place! Selena is the queen of ménage and does mff better than any writer I know. The sex, as always, is incredibly hot, but there is a depth of character in this one that really moved me. This isn’t just sex, there’s a good story here, and the author deals with some real issues. I actually cried at one point. It’s a great listen!
This is a great sexual coming of age story! It was both enjoyable and arousing. There was a great build-up of attraction and sexual tension, and the characters were complex and compelling. Such a great job of describing feelings and emotion. The sex is extremely hot (mff ménage and some ff) and although the ending isn’t happy ever after, it’s realistic and satisfying. Steamy!
Great read/listen, hot sex, and far better writing than Fifty Shades if you ask me! Heidi gets hired by Kaiser as his personal assistant, and after that, well think “Secretary” set in the fashion world. Heidi’s “training” isn’t just in typing though and Kaiser has a wicked streak. This is the fun, sexy side of bdsm, more domination and spanking than anything else. The characters are unique and the romance is sizzling! I was impressed.
TONS of stories, eight of them total I think, and I liked all of them, some more than others. The sex in this is hot (I've read Selena Kitt before, so I knew that was coming - ha ha) but the stories are great modern twists on traditional fairy tales. Very creative. Every story has a happy ending (shouldn't all fairy tales?) and Selena does a great job putting it all together. The narration is great, easy to listen to, not distracting from the stories. I would highly recommend this!
