Years ago, an ancient Phoenician statue, known as the Navigator, was stolen from the Baghdad Museum, and there are men who would do anything to get their hands on it. Their first victim is a crooked antiquities dealer, murdered in cold blood. Their second, very nearly, is a UN investigator who, were it not for the timely assistance of Austin and Zavala, would now be at the bottom of a watery grave.

Tom says: "Another great NUMA adventure"
    "Richard Ferrone vs. Scott Brick"

Hey!! I wanted to listen to Ferrone. Your description said the narrator was "Richard Ferrone", but the down load I got was by Scott Brick. Not the same. ??????????????????????

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

    "Disappointment"

I thought there was way too much time going in the family history. I felt like I was at a family reunion. And the rape scene served what purpose? How did it related to a murder investigation almost 40 years old? Sorry, but I think the book is way over-rated.
