The book contains toooo much details. Not for the casual reader interested in a bit of history. Plus, I am not sure if it is because of the content or the narrator himself, but it is very boring. I could not finish the book unfortunately.
I was disappointed by the book. It's a history book on food industries since early 1900s. It has small parts on how food industries use sugar salt and fat, but they are lost in the historical documentaries. I lost interest in the book and stopped reading it.
The book is great. It is as current as any book written just yesterday, even though it is more than 60 years old.
I highly recommend it.
