"Almost listened to it entirely in one day!"
For years I had known the government and irresponsible people were the cause of the financial meltdown; I just never knew the details. Such a great explanation and history of events by someone who has been there and come out the other side. Cynics and conspiracists will most likely say this book is propaganda, but they are just socialist like Obama. If you want businesses to compete and grow, leave them alone and let them fend for themselves. The market (the people of the United States) will determine who succeeds and who fails.
"You need this book if you talk to anyone."
So glad I listened to this. I will most likely listen to it multiple times.
Not everyone thinks like you, so get them to think you think like them.
I know there are endless scenarios to how to talk and deal with people, but they are justified. Anyone who complains about this book's view on how to deal with people, obviously has a problem dealing with people and did not actually understand the concept. They can repeat the definitions, but fail to intellectually comprehend the lessons. Ironically I told a previous boss she was crazy for many of these ideas, but the examples helped send some of them home for me. Bottom-line, this will be a requirement for my employees to read in the future. Anyone who manages or leads needs to read, and more importantly, understand the teachings of Dale Carnegie.
"Boring and Biased"
Good information but obvious bias towards women. Who, according to the author are much more sound investors. Yeah... what does that have to do with anything? The narrator is also pretty painful to listen to, I often toned out or fell asleep and didn't try to rewind. Not worth the credit.
Nope!
