I love this book, it's one of my personal favorites. It has enough action/adventure to keep you listening, enough comedy to keep you laughing, and enough loving to be a romance novel.
I just wish I hadn't purchased the abridged version. It left a lot of stuff out, and rushed the conculsion. Read the real book, or get an unabridged copy. You'll be glad you did.
I agree w/ajokitty. NO NO NO!!! The barn burns down, and Qwill just...goes on with his day like it was nothing? No way. Polly blows him off after being with him for over a decade?? I don't think so. I was so disappointed. DID LJB write this, or did she die and her son/daugher/husband/whatever is writing in her name now?? Why all the huge changes? The best parts of The Cat Who books was the familiarity.
Yep, shoulda quit maybe 3 books ago, because the last 2 cat who books were both forgetable.
I am a huge Crusie fan, and loved "Anyone but you," but this one was so bad! It was dull, boring, the narrator's voice was annoying, and I absolutely despise heroines who are clueless about what's going on around them.
Frankly, It made me so frustrated, I never even finished it. Another waste of money.
It was typical, predictable, and uninspiring. Such a huge waste of money.
