The ice dragon was a creature of legend and fear, for no man had ever tamed one. When it flew overhead, it left in its wake desolate cold and frozen land. But Adara was not afraid. For Adara was a winter child, born during the worst freeze that anyone, even the Old Ones, could remember.

Not only was it short, but was disappointed with the ending. It didn't leave a good feeling at all. I wouldn't let my kids listen to it. My grandkids where not have like this girls decision. I wasted my credit on this one. I will not recommand it at all.

I'm sure that the Billy Goats in my time were not that mean! I recall them being a bit scary as a child, but these ones in my opinion, were a bit over the edge. Grandkids loved it. It was me that was shocked with the story line. Gave it a 5 star only because it kept the kids listening, even play acting.

Some stories become favored childhood classics with good reason, such as the tale of Goldilocks. Here, in an abundantly funny retelling, the time honored drama unfolds. This outrageously frilly, jump-roping Goldilocks skips through the bears' house, reciting saucy rhymes as she goes.

Another outstanding collaboration from Caralyn and Mark Buehner, Goldilocks and the Three Bears is perfect for sharing with children, adults, and fairy-tale collectors alike.

Really? Aliens! That was a shocker. I cracked up on this one. Put it on while driving to keep the grandkids quiet. My aunt was with me. And when little bear saids "Maybe its an alien" We both looked at each other and broke out laughing. Well, we got to keep up with the times we're in. If aliens will keep the kids quiet, so be it.....lol

I went to a wondercon event and saw the banner for this book. Checked out the story line and decided to give it a shot. All I could say in the end was "OMG!" I was totally spellbinded by it. I have to get the next one. The ending left me in shock. It's like "WTF" where's the rest of the pages? This is what reading is all about. A story that takes you away from the mundane of life.

The first book left me shocked by the way it ended. I just had to get the next one. Now I need to get them all. I had to watch the HBO series in order to get a better idea of who was who. So many names. Although the HBO series was good, the books as always are way better. I already have a couple of friends reading the series. George R Martin, your mind is amazing. Don't stop writing, we need more!

Spellbinding! My 3rd listening book on this serie. I simply just want to do nothing but listen to the whole thing in one sitting. I only get the chance to listen while driving back and forth to work. Life has a hold on people that don't have the leisure of time to enjoy. We have to work. At least I am getting through it a little at a time.

Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books—but we are real.

I truly enjoyed this book. I can only listen to it while communing back and forth to work. There were many times that I simply wanted to stay in the car just to listen as long as I can. Yes, there are silly things in the book that one can just do without (like the romantic parts) but once that part was over the rest was exciting. The narrator was hard to listen to when doing the female voice. The plot was good. I can't wait for the rest of the books to follow. I just hope that the movie will be just as good as the book. It a good book for all ages. I would recommand it to everyone that enjoys SciFi stories.
