    I used my credit because of a glowing review from another listener. I have gotten half way and just cannot force myself to listen to the rest. I always believe in giving books a chance because some start slowly. I thought I had reached that point with this book but it never happened. I am not engaged in the story and I don't even want to know what happens in the end.

    I found the writing "simple" and as one of the other reviewers mentioned, I very quickly got tired of "darling , love, beloved, sweetheart....

    As to the performance, I have to give Ms Williams credit for being able to read this book.
