Why are you captivated by some people but not by others? Why do you recall some brands yet forget the rest? In a distracted, overcrowded world, how do certain leaders, friends, and family members convince you to change your behavior? Answer: fascination, the most powerful way to influence decision-making. It's more persuasive than marketing, advertising, or any other form of communication. And it all starts with seven universal triggers: lust, mystique, alarm, prestige, power, vice, and trust.

I read this book and then bought the audio book. I really liked the book the first time around and loved the audio version much better. Sally really adds to the points and entertains in just the right parts. Loved it and have recommended it to friends.

The reviews I have read so far are simply unfair. I suppose if you like the same ol' from every author without their giving any extra creativity or imagination, The Finisher may disappoint you. I thought it was a great departure for Baldacci and my only complaint is it ended without and ending. I hope that is because Baldacci intends for it to be a trilogy. This was a great write and the person who read it did a terrific job particularly with the main characters. This was a well crafted story from beginning to end and the character development was perfect. Although the character development may have taken longer than some may have wanted, I would argue it was necessary. I hope Baldacci writes more of this really creative stuff!!!

When I first started In the Company of Witches, I thought I had picked a book my wife would like, but i would not. How wrong I was and Ms. Harkness foes not disappoint in the Book 2 Sequel. Wonderful character development and great plot progression. Can not say enough good about the writing. The narration was likewise very good and made you better "feel" the characters. Can't wait to read anything more that Deborah Harkness wants to write!

What made the experience of listening to Storm Front the most enjoyable?

    The writer and the reader

What other book might you compare Storm Front to and why?

All Jim Butcher's other books. The are sensational!

Have you listened to any of James Marsters’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Marsters is great. In fact one of Jim Butcher's books is narrated by someone else and although the writing was still great, the reader was not so much.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Harry Dresden Wizards the world and beyond

Deep in the stacks of Oxford's Bodleian Library, young scholar Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up a bewitched alchemical manuscript in the course of her research. Descended from an old and distinguished line of witches, Diana wants nothing to do with sorcery; so after a furtive glance and a few notes, she banishes the book to the stacks. But her discovery sets a fantastical underworld stirring, and a horde of daemons, witches, and vampires soon descends upon the library.

The narration was terrific. The narrator was able to do so in a way that made all the characters sound in your head the way you imagined them. The character development was superb. Each character feels like you know them intimately. This is a great read and I am sorry about only one thing...it had to end!
