I just happened to stumbled on this..just right speed. Kept me interested to the end and rushed me for the second book.
This series had so much promising. I enjoyed how story developed around generic engineering. The story could go a bit detail here such as stem cell technology.
However, book3 is disappointment. Story is rushing and carelessness everywhere. Example, why throw away SG and TG differences that developed so carefully? Now, everybody lives forever. The Clan differences could have been exploited further rather than rambling about modern technology that we already know. Where is tension and excitement? I can't imagine what else is left other than more God like unrealistic capabilities. I hate good story goes into ruin.
Fast moving, captivating, decent originality. Some weakness on character development but enough to kept the storyline going.
I enjoyed the book so much that I listened and read hard copy again. Can't wait for next book. Highly recommended.
I have been enjoying this series up to now. I feel I have been betrayed by author. I didn't sign up this. I am totally offended by her sex life. This is not the book I nor my teens to read on.
I like the book until 3/4 of the way. I liked so much that I purchased kindle version as well so i can appreciate the words closely. But why does he have to borrow muslim culture to depict krasian? I think this is an insult to readers that readers are not famliar with other cultures. It was just carelessness. I see this traits toward the end of book. The story become stale not developing. Overall, I enjoyed the book but left a bit of sour taste. Again, could have been a lot better.
plot is original
concept of warding the body and energy being absorbed inito body.
The plot is too big from the beginning of the series. I find it difficult to correlate the story. Author tries to put together toward at end but it is not captivating.
worst of all, second author didn't bother read first section!! I did enjoyed first section although there was no ending to it. So, you are getting two books for one price. Wait, second section, just read "I am a legend" instead. It's shame..it could have been better. I am upset to people lure me into it.
I find the idea of "Wild Fire" insane as terrorist who thought of using plane as a bomb. The development of the story left me something missing but can't quite pin point what..however, I have enjoyed the book and learned a few things too. This is one of a few books that I actually listened besides commuting time.
