Death without Company is a book about the west and the folks who live and love it. The strength of the characters, their loyalty to each other, and personal common sense are true to Wyoming as I've know it. This is terrific audio book, and I look forward to many more of Craig Johnson's fine work.
The ending was always illusive and the characters more real than ever. This is an outstanding novel which captures you in the very beginning.
Walt Longmire comes to life, and you'll want to invite him over for supper in Craig Johnson's great mysteries set in the Wyoming. Readers will be refreshed by the accurate descriptions of the daily life and atmosphere of the small town surrounding. I encourage those who enjoy Hillerman to read The Cold Dish.
Craig Johnson is the best writer to come out of Wyoming. His work equals that of Tony Hillerman and Louis Lamour. The Character development and interwoven plots are captivating from the first page. A great read for anyone who loves the West.
Wonderful read! I highly recommend this book for intrigue and depth of plot!
Steve Thayer is a master at weaving intricate details and multiple plots with location. This book is difficult to stop listening to like The Weatherman. It's a wonderful mystery which makes the reader want to listen to more and more of his great work.
