This is a very light hearted cozy mystery. Maddie Springer has ceated a ditzy and silly heroine in Maddie Springer. Maddie stumbles through the mystery making silly assumptions and decisions. There was too much emphasis on her personal life. At the end Maddie does manage to figure things out.

I was mad at Kyra Davis for waiting so long to publish a new Sphie Katz's book. All is forgiven. This latest addition to the series is just as funny as the other books. I bought the Kindle version first, but I had to add the audio version to my collection. It is worth a read or a listen.

This was a great book and a very good series. Everything gets wrapped up nice and tight. While it is a happy ending, it is also bittersweet. Sabina Kane has come full circle and come out on top. The entire series is worth reading. I would warn against starting with this boo. You must read the entire series.

This is a very quick read. Everytime I finish a book in this series, I tell myself that it will be the last one. Of course it's a lie. This is a great series and the narrator does a great job giving a voice to the characters.My only complaint is that it's too short. He should combine two books together. It's worth a credit and the the time. I recommend the series.

I ordered this book because I had read everything else and needed something for the long ride to work. This book was great. The lead character is a strong female who lost her husband. Drug dealers are after her and she has no idea why. She has a strong support group of friends and family that helps her survive. This is a well plotted and entertaining book. I recommend it.

This is a great series. The mystery plot in the book is good. The characters are likeable and believable. What I really like is that the lead characters personal life takes a back seat to the mystery. I can't wait until the next comes out.

This was a great read that made me want to give up my job and run off to Vegas. That is of course if I could get a 6 maybe 7 figure job as a problem solver in a popular Vegas Hotel. Lucky O'Toole is smart, sassy, and witty. The plot is strong with many twists and turns to keep you interested to the end. The dialogue is filled with humor, intelligence, and intrigue. This is a surprisingly good and unique story set in a unique city. There is a bit too much of romance for my taste but it doesn't take away from the story. I strongly reccomend this book. I have already bought the second book.

I bought this on the faith of Lorna Barrett's other book series, Booktown Mysteries. I love that series. This one not so much. It is slow and boring. Also the lead charater accepts his "gift" too soon. The whole thing was clumsily put together. I wish I hadn't wasted a credit on it because I couldn't finish it.

Never in a million years did I think I would read all of the books in this series. But I have, so far. All of the books up until now have been funny and witty. Not that this book was bad, but it lost some of the humor and wit of the previous books in the series. I enjoyed this book just like I enjoyed the other books in the series. I look forward to the next book in this series.

In Murder Plays House by Ayelet Waldman, Juliet Applebaum has a baby on the way and needs to find a new house. This is a rather sad book because there is a lot of information about eating disorders and how it affects families. However, even though it very serious under tones, Juliet's wit and sense of humor still manages to shine through. The mystery is solid and has enough red herrings and clues to keep you guessing the villain until the end.
