I have read amost all of this series I have enjoyed them all immensly My only complaint is Mr Free's rendition of it It grates on the ears I hope that he doesn't do any more of these :(
I am only one hour into the story.. and already I am sorry I bought it. The story may be good but the narration is the pits. I can only listen for short periods of time.. How could they take a good book an excellent writer and let a complete idiot narrate it?
This the first time that I had to actually
wade thru the first part of the book I was so disappointed in the authors whom I had never read a bad book before But the second half saved the day It was up to their excellent selves and I enjoyed it immensly
Thank you This American Life and Audible for this program For the first time in my life I understand a little about the financial workings of Wall Street and how it affects the US econ. and by that our own Canadian econ. It is very consice and in words that even a dummy like me can unterstand Once again many thanks to all involved
At first I thought Oh No!!!! Bernard has written a lemon but after what seemed to me a slow start it was terrific all the way especially when you decide you know who the killer is and at almost the end you find out whether you are right or not :) Thank you again Mr Cornwell for a well written interesting novel Hopefully he will write a sequel to it
This book is as good as" Gone with the Wind", tho to be honest I didn't think so at the beginning My only complaint with it is it ended" Like Field of Dreams" it is a story you want to go on and on I hope Mr McCaig will write a sequel Did they rebuild Tara What happens to Taz. Every question seems to lead to another
This book is well worth reading I enjoyed it more than I can say. Thank you Mr McCaig
Every book I read of Stephen King I think it's the best he's ever done But by far and away the Green mile is the best he's ever done I found myself wanting to beat Percy to death and wanted so badly to help John Coffey The author has made the characters so real you almost feel like you were there and knew these people personally.. Even the murderer "Del" tugged at your heartstrings and who would ever believe I could or would fall in love with a mouse Thank you so much Mr King
Af first Stephen King almost lost me I found it difficult to understand Started over and was completely engrossed by it... I think it is King at his very best I only wished it didn't have to end I could have lived in this book, because as a child I had a place very much like it Hope he will come up with a sequel to it
