Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

Would you consider the audio edition of First Bite to be better than the print version?

For me it is since I am legally blind. I can only enjoy audio books. I love them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Who else but Geneva & Travis!!!!!!!!

What about Veronica Muench’s performance did you like?

I love the different voices she makes. Sometimes it's hard to tell that only one persone is telling the story. She reminds me of Miss Ronconi they both have great vocal talent :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have listened to it all in one sitting about twice already.

    Any additional comments?

Yeah! Don't leave me hanging!I am dying for the next book because I know that the story can't just end like that. They still have to stop the evil twin!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Sins of the Demon the most enjoyable?

I was at the edge of my seat most of the time and laughing the other times.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sins of the Demon?

The part where Kara was saying goodbye to her guardian! I wanted to cry.

What does Liv Anderson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love the way she voices the different characters and the feelings is just like if I was listening to a movie..

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Definitely!!!!!!!
Ever since I started reading her story I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.
In fact I recommend the whole 9 yards :)

What other book might you compare Blood Bond to and why?

That's easy, Jane Jameson, Kismet Knight, Vampire Psychologist, Parasol Protectorate, Phoenix Pack, Protector of the Small Quartet, Vampire for Hire, Chicagoland Vampires and Dark Series because the main characters or co-protagonists are all strong willed women like myself only prettier.

Which character – as performed by Dina Pearlman – was your favorite?

Anna, Frey, John John, Culebra and Vlad and Max.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely, no matter how sleepy I was I couldn't rest until I reached the end!!!!!

    Any additional comments?

I feel satisfied in knowing this is the end and that I don't have to suffer waiting to see what happens next. Sad that Anna's mom is dying but glad that she got to live long enough to fix things between them and see a parents most cherished wish come true.If you haven't read any of Anna Strong's books your missing out on a great adventure.I am kinda sad to know that this is the end of the series but I will never get tired of reading it over and over and over again :)

An exciting new tale set in the world of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials saga. Lyra's Oxford opens in the thrilling comfort and familiarity of Jordan College, where Lyra and her daemon Pantalaimon sit on the sun-drenched roof looking out over all of Oxford. But their peace is shattered when a strange bird (a witch's daemon, on its own) tumbles out of the sky. It is Ragi, daemon of Yelena Pazhets.

Helen Feddema says: "Great story, great reading"

In this stunning sequel to The Golden Compass, the intrepid Lyra finds herself in a shimmering, haunted otherworld, Cittagazze, where soul-eating Specters stalk the streets and wingbeats of distant angels sound against the sky. But she is not without allies: twelve-year-old Will Parry, fleeing for his life after taking another's, has also stumbled into this strange new realm.

Geoffrey says: "The second book in a fantastic trilogy!"

    Overall

If you could set aside the fact that the supposed good guys are hunting GOD! Then this is a great book. I wouldn't even have guessed that the "authority" aptly named by the author, was GOD but because I read something another reader wrote had me looking for it.
Sometimes I think it is better for one to read a book before a comment??? Because in a way, that comment spoiled it for me. I loved the movie and wanted to books. I even have all 3 in hard cover and sealed as a collector's item. So I was glad to find audio books of the movie.
I had't, then to me, the "authority" would have been the head of their church order like the Pope or the one behind him.
Still it is a great listening and the descriptive writing leaves you seeing rather than listening to the story.

She told people of how the Doctor has saved them before, and how he will save them again. This is that story. It tells of Martha's travels from her arrival on Earth as the Toclafane attacked and decimated the population through to her return to Britain to face the Master. It tells how she spread the word and told people about the Doctor. The story of how she survived that terrible year...
