I love Apple so by default I love Jobs. I say this as a disclaimer but also because after reading this book it is my honest opinion that Steve Jobs was probably insane but that makes him no different that most people of amazing genius. You will find in this book a great bio of a man you will find complex and strange and after finishing you will respect him, but I am not sure if you like him or even want him in your life, just his products.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. It is a lesson in why Clinton would have been a better option than Obama and why JFK was probably all style and little substance.

It started a little slow, but while sitting on the train Something was said and I could not stop listening. You won't be able to stop listening, the characters are tragic but inspirational. You Wont Be Able To Stop Listening

I was once a huge fan, then he became in my opinion a great disappointment. This book renewed my faith in Obama although named "The Obamas" it is really about Michelle. You find out that he still holds the values that sent him to the white house, but as always things are more complicated than they seem.

If you are a fan or once was this book will sit with you and you will respect him again.

My mom was one of the southern African Americans who made the trip to Boston all those years ago. She never talked about her trip and her reasons for leaving. I never asked. This books brings incredible insight into her story and ultimately my history. I would recommend it to all, but in particular those who wonder what struggles your parents who migrated from the south all those years ago may have been like.

Mesmerizing, fascinating, insightful, and just plain good. As far as Stephen King goes, one of the very best, couple that with a great narrator and you have a timeless audible classic.

The story is told through the eyes of a 13 year old girl but it falls flat as the author tries to recreate a weird version of Juno except in hell. It is really the rambling craziness of a 13 year old girl, nothing profound. I would pass.

Ever since I stumbled across the Lost Constitution last year, I've been a big fan of William Martin. Since then, I've read all of his Peter Fallon books and enjoyed them tremendously. Martin masterfully weaves together fact and fiction to create page-turner after page-turner. Although I tend to not enjoy the way Martin ends his tales, I find myself so caught up in the story that I don't care about the disappointment I've come to expect from his novels' anti-climatic endings. If you are a fan of Steve Berry, Dan Brown or even powerhouses such as Ken Follett and Edward Rutherfurd, I believe that you will enjoy this book as well as Martin's many others.
