This is no summary of "erotica" If you want erotica download "Between the Sheets" or "A Lick and a Promise". This is bizarre and poorly read. Two of the stories are also found in "Between the Sheets", where the female parts are read by women with sensual voices, not bored men. I do not classify lesbian anal fisting or gay men preying on bellhops as "erotica" It is not what it is advertised as, it is more like "Bizarre and almost banned" or "very wierd and poorly read". Don't bother, if you want erotica get "Between the sheets" (which is also 8 hours long). They only way this could have been voted "the best erotica", is if the vote was held in San Quenten.

If you are reading these books in order, skip the first two hours of Honor and Spies, as it is covered in the last 10 minutes of Death and Honor. Very frustrating as you wade through events you already know about, the story does not advance at all in this part. Griffin is big on revisiting information but this is the most aggravating case yet, as it is indeed a great otherwise tight series (I downloaded the Double Agents to kill a few days until this last in the series came out, don't bother with Double Agents, very weak). Honor and Spies picks up after the two hours rehashing the last book. Start two hours in and miss absolutely nothing.

30 hours long, and only the last 5 hours tell a story. Sadly they are simply a preface to some other book. A number of events are "set up" and in the end nothing happens. It is like Lions Game, insanely unsatisfactory. I am a big David Weber fan but large portions of this book are lifted, verbatim, from his earlier books. If you read reviews of the printed version,readers become confused as the transitions among the three warring civilizations are not noted. You are on the deck of a "good guy", then a "bad guy" then a "stupid puppet of the truly evil guys" and in the audible version it is impossible to keep the first 25 hours of the book straight. This is followed by a horrible do nothing ending where 5,000 things are ---- about to happen. Sad, a huge disappointment from a very capable author

While the writing is reminscent of Tom Clancy the book fizzles out without an ending, which after 21 and a half hours, is QUITE a disappointment. The bady guy is TOO smart and the good guys are TOO dumb. Lots of senseless death and cold blooded murder with no closure anywhere, the same disappointing and annoying "end with a puff of smoke" found in Night Fall, don't buy that either.

Boring, stupid and poorly written. This book is neither erotic nor interesting. 95% of the text is a very boring story and 5% is very boring sex (written in the style of a church newsletter). Between The Sheets (another audio book by Penthouse) is entertaining, erotic and well written. 26 Nights has no redeeming qualities and is not worth a book credit or the 7 hours it would take to finish

I listen to audiobooks for many reasons, to learn things, to "read" books I do not have time for, and to relax and be distracted. Ten Big Ones, for me, fully meets the criteria for the "relax and be distracted" category. This was my second Stephanie Plum book, and I am on Audible tonight to buy a third. Stephanie Plum lives in world rich with detail and strong (and different) characters. The end of Ten Big Ones includes a brief interview with the author who explains why she left painting, and writing romance novels to write "humorous Indiana Jones stories". Ten Big Ones is a story I always looked forward to getting back to, and one that offered a delightful respite from the "should" books on my iPod (like 8th Habit). I recommend it not as a Ludlum or a Grisham, just a fun and engaging story
