"Storm Prey"
I eagerly await each new Sandford novel because I love his characters and his ability to unravel a serious crime mystery and make you laugh while he's unraveling. I'm totally in love with the Lucas Davenport family although I'd love to read more about the baby boy. Any story that has Lucas Davenport and crew then throws in his young side-kick Virgil Flowers has to be a winner. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait for the next John Sandford "Prey" Novel. I give this one a Ten...wait, I forgot Five is the highest score. Five Stars for John Sandford's Storm Prey.
"Every Last One"
This was an excellent telling of a miserably painful story. After listening to this book I had to listen to Janet Evanovich's Sizzling 16 to lift my mood. This may not sound like a good reveiw but I will probably listen to Every Last one again, it was so well written as is the Anna Qindlen style. 5 Stars!!
"The Map of True Places"
I really enjoyed this book. I selected it because Brunonia Barry's Lace Reader is on my list of all time favorite books. Map of true places has found it's place on my list too. The story is intricately woven, the characters are complicated but believable. I loved that there was mention of some of Lace Reader's characters. Thank you Ms. Barry for another entertaining book.
