Unlike other books with this many installments, Harrison has been able to stay true to her characters and not get sidetracked by arbitrary story lines to keep the readers interested. Book 11 was just as good as book 11. Character development is one of the most important things i cherish in a book series. Harrison makes sure to touch on the lives and the changes in each of the people in her books.
The only thing I don't like about this series is waiting for the next installment to be released. and that's just me being an impatient baby. Oh how I envy the person who is reading this series from book one to the latest for the first time. I remember when I first read "Dead Witch Walking". and how impressed I was. I have to admit I never actually held a paper copy of any of the books in this series, and really don't feel the need, in my mind Marguerite Gavin is Rachel Morgan. It's hard to listen to a great story with a narrator who doen't quite match the characters that he/she are reading about. Heck A great narrator can make even an average book better.
So to sum up this review,(Appluse! Appluse, APPLUSE!!!) I aboslutely recommend not only Kim Harrisons "EVER AFTER" but all 10 books that came before.

These are fun quick reads. Being a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse series I was thrilled to learn that I have heard of Lily Bard and Jack Leeds before even picking up the first Lily Bard book. Lily and Jack are introduced to Sookie first in Harris's "Dead as a Doornail". I think it would of been cool to see a Harper Connelly appearance as well. But anyway I did enjoy this book along with the entire series.

WARNING! This a Companion Book. Although a lot of these stories are original for this book, A few of these stories have been already published in other Anthology books, like "Pet Shop Boys", "Holidays Are Hell" and "Dates from Hell". Which if you read a lot of these collection of stories you may want to research to see what stories you've already read. This Anthology is only Kim Harrison, Hollows stories Some relating to Rachel Morgan, like how Al came to capture Suri. How Rachel first met Pierce. Ivys history in the I.S.and how she finally came to partner up with Rachel and a great story about Trents quest along with Jenks to retreve his baby. And more Rachel Morgan related stories. Some are original stories with never heard of Hollows characters. Either way, This is a book for any fan of the Hollows. Something to quench your thirst before the next Rachel Morgan Book comes out ...... "EVER AFTER". JANUARY 22, 2013

These books ar unbelievely brilliant! Stacia Kane is ingenious and Bahni Turpin brings Chess, Terrible and the story itself to life. I have listened and listened again to all of this series. Like Chess and her pills, I can't get enough of these books!

I love this series. The story line is funny, original and really ingenuous and Johanna Parker is AWESOME as a narrator. It takes place in a parallel universe where Vampires and other supernaturals make up most of the population leaving less the 10% human. But is regards to what another Audible Member wrote in their review about the genre of this book, I got a little confused when they mentioned this book was a romance. So I looked at the first book they have it classified as a Mystery / Thriller, yes and no, being there's these supernatural characters, oh and the alternate universe. It's more of a Sci-fi /Fantasy. Ok the 2nd book is classified as a Sci-Fi / Fantasy, The 3rd book, A Romance? And then the 4th book again back to the Mystery Thriller family. I feel very confident saying that all 4 four books (in the series as of now) all belong in the Sci-Fi / Fantasy catagory.

I haven't read the print, but the narration is half of what made this book so great. I couldn't imagine the print being better.I couldn't even imagine another narrator being better, Luke Daniels makes these books come alive in a fun and creative way.

Besides the story being so good in itself, Kevin Hearne took a look at god, mythology, religion and the supernatural from what I consider to be a imaginative new perspective. I loved what he did with the historical mythology. And of course the relationship between Atticus and Oberon.

He brought so much energy to the book. He made the story his to tell. I loved the laughter, it seemed to real, especially when he was talking to Oberon. He really brought a mood setting while narrating. (If that makes sense). This are one of the best series I've ever listened to.

The tag line would be- STAY HOME AND LISTEN TO THE AUDIOBOOK- I hate books made into movies.

I highly reccommend this series.

All I can say is if you're a fan of Molly Harper, you'll probably like this book. Honestly if I didn't know who the author was, I probably would of guessed Molly Harper, especially with Amanda Ronconi telling the tale. It's a "light romance, sci/fi fantasy, bonding girl friends, battle the bad guy, finding ones inter-strength" kind of story that hs the right touch of humor that I found myself llaughing out loud a few times. It's really worth the listen, especially if you are a Molly Harper fan.
