"Hurry up with 20!"
The characters only get better and better. Janet Evanovitz keep the stories fresh and interesting.
Stephanie Plum is still my favorite. Things just seem to happen to her and she never gives up. Its always a game to see how many cars she'll lose in any one book.
She's an old friend now and has her performance down to a T. She is perfect for the series.
I always laugh out loud at least once every book. We were at a football game and I was reading one of the series on my iPhone and started laughing out loud. My husband thought I ws crazy until I told him what I was reading.
The wait for the next installmernt is always hard. I truly look forward to the next one and hope for the next one and hope she doesn't stop.
"Very interesting"
Time travel books certainly aren't new but this one was special. Initially I thought it was going to be too long but it had you really caring about the present day people as well as all the charaters the time traveler met. I'm ready to listen to the next one.
Spoiler Alert : Losing the whole family to the plague and the strength of the priest wiht to the end.
I think she helped keep your interest. As I've said its a long book but its never boring and I think her narration was part of that.
No, It was just a very enjoyable book.
I will definetly be listening to the series.
"Just Awful"
I really tried to give this book a chance and listened for an hour and a half. It was terrible
Something a lot more upbeat than this
I'm not sure. The convict that eas trying to catch Violet sounded half asleep and none of thr voiced sat well with me.
I'm definetly sorry I bought this book
"Will read the whole series"
I don't think I'd listen to it again. I have the next two books to help keep me informed about the characters in this book.
Bechet wasmy favorite. He was so good with the kids and you never felt like he wanted just Claire and not the whole package
I think a sign of a good reader is when you don't notice that they're there. They are just part of the story that keeps things moving.
No. I listen in my car and don't usually listen at home.
You always know you'll have a happy ending with a Nora Roberts book and that's not suvh a bad thing.
"Basic Nora Roberts"
The stalker story line was a little extra creepy. In real life I would hope they would have taken the threat more seriously.
Chosen a different adversary than the stalker
Yes
Sure. There are two more main women that need mates.
I say this is your basic Nora Roberts book because you know within the first couple of chapters who the main male and female love interest will be and the book just develops the relationship with various ups and downs. I'll read the next two in the series and I'm sure more Nora Roberts after that because I enjoy a happy ending.
"New Series"
It was a cute story line. It was a great book for a long drive. The story kept your interest and was a pleasant idea. I'm going to read the next one in the series.
"Boring"
This was like sitting in my seventh grade english class. We memorized 52 prepositions and learned how to conjugate verbs in 23 tenses. Sr Ann Veronica was more interesting than this book. I couldn't make it through the whole thing, even though I try to see every book to the end no matter how weak it is. It was awful
I don't think this book could be fixed
Her narration didn't make any difference to the content.
Very disappointing
"Terrific all the way through"
Yes! Listening to Garry Marshall narrate was at least half the fun. He was wonderful.
Garry Marshall himself was the best character
I especially liked his stories about directing his movies. I also liked listening to him talk about his childhood in the Bronx.
I laughed out loud several times. It was wonderful.
I have recommended this audio book to several people.
"What a disappointment"
I have enjoyed every other Fannie Flagg book, especially Red Bird Christmas. I am halfway though I Still Dream About You and I am struggling to keep going. The main character is a twit and the only really interesting character is already dead. This was a big disappointment.
