YES! To be fair to the print version, I'm sure its amazing too, but nothing beats the little bit of snark in Amanda's voice.
Everything. I love Jane and all of her friends, the trouble that they get into and her reactions to all of it.
I happen to love Dick Cheney. There I said it, and I'm not ashamed.... well, not really.
I have NO IDEA why I love this series so much, but I've read the whole series (and I actually had to READ the last two AND the shorts) I love Violet, Doc, Harvey, the kids etc… Its a funny, cozy mystery with hints of the paranormal. Its not the best thing every written, but it was very captivating and I devoured the series.
This was pretty typical of the rest of the series. Some romance/love triangle some action and mystery. Good read, but not amazing. Will continue the series.
Those of you that know Atticus and Oberon will appreciate this installment. There was a LOT of different POVs and new characters and EPIC DISASTER but there was still the funny stuff, great moments with old favorites and falling for newbies.
There is A LOT OF SEX in this book. That's not true. There is a lot of TALKING ABOUT SEX in this book. I am not a prude, I understand that there was sex in the rest of the story, but with all of the EPIC WAR going on, there seemed to be much more love and not a lot of war.
I adored the first two books. This one…. not so much. The ending was really great, but the first 7 hours couldn't hold my attention. I read two other books while I was listening to this one.
Enchanted Inc was a fluff book. Very chick lit/rom com/light paranormal. It was okay, but not great. This edition had more mystery and more romance and was just overall more entertaining.
Jeaniene Frost has yet to disappoint me. I love Cat and Bones and am looking forward to her new venture coming soon.
The second Vlad book was great. I love the story, I did guess the traitor pretty early on, but still enjoyed the mystery.
I LOVE the characterizations. I love hearing Bump and Terrible's language. I think that adds a lot to the experience.
Terrible. Always Terrible.
I do love Bumps voice though.
“Bump stood in the middle of the room, wrapped in a heavy fur coat, with a black silk top hatcovering his fuzzy head and unnecessary sunglasses hiding his pale face. He looked like the Abominable Snowpimp.”
― Stacia Kane, Unholy Ghosts
yep. all of it.
This was fun to listen to. Light hearted and sweet. Looking forward to reading more.
I love listening to all of the crazy stories about how Atticus has pissed off every god. All of them. Everywhere.
So excited to see Granuille and love love love Oberon,
