I bought this book as a hard copy a few years ago, and remembered the 'common sense' which is not so common these days and wisdom of his message. Easy listening, very good message, a good place to start a new day, week, or month.
I loved Katrina's tenacity and drive and ultimately her humanity and fragility
Apart from the obvious, Katrina, her husband is a model for support and understanding, she is a very lucky lady.
I felt her emotions through her words, it just made the experience more authentic and real
Katrina kept on trying and working, she kept trying different scenarios, she didn't just 'give in or give up'
a lovely story about a very strong and brave lady
Yes - easier to access for busy budding writers
None, Stephen King's advice and narration are so easy to listen to and his honesty is very inspiring.
Yes, Bag of Bones, love his voice, this was a different type of book and very easy to listen to.
I was very moved when he admitted and owned his alcoholism.
I love his message, writers need to understand that he wasn't born with a golden spoon. He worked very hard at some seriously menial jobs and perservered with his writing when most of us would be making excuses.
Haven't read the print version, but the narration was excellent.
Kept me in suspense all of the time
Discovery of the basement 'cavity'
I loved it
Part Stephen King, part Dean Koontz - definitely a book for a long drive or a rainy day - you won't want to be disturbed.
I love the simplicity of Florence Scovel Shinns message, in this and the the Game of Life.
Simplistic principles that are easy to understand and implement in your daily life.
The message is very similar to the Game of Life - but sometimes repetition is the key.
