I was really disappointed in this book. I don't know how many times I turned it off and listened to something else. I finally finished it but I can't say that I enjoyed it at all.

An ordinary snapshot causes a mother’s world to unravel in an instant. After picking up her two young children from school, Grace Lawson looks through a newly developed set of photographs. She finds an odd one in the pack: A mysterious picture from perhaps twenty years ago, showing four strangers she can’t identify. But there is one face she recognizes—that of her husband, from before she knew him. When her husband sees the photo that night, he leaves their home and drives off without explanation.

This is the worst female narration I have EVER heard - and I've listened to a lot! She should not be narrating anything! I want my money back. Don't get this even if you really think it sounds good.

I'm not going to be able to finish this. I listened for 20 min. and it's the worst narration I have ever heard and I've listened to hundreds!
Suzanne Young wrote "The Program" and had a different narrator and it was great. The narration is so bad on this one, I can't give the book a chance. Absolutely awful!!!

I started listening to this and I knew my students would love it. Several of my students listened to the audio and also bought it for their Nooks. They liked it better than The Hunger Games. We all hated for it to end and can hardly wait for the sequel. Our school library is getting it for sure.

Would you try another book from Catherine Coulter and/or Renee Raudman, and Paul Costanzo?

    no

What do you think your next listen will be?

    the new John Sandford

How could the performance have been better?

There should have been some sort to research before this book was written and narrated.

    Any additional comments?

This was absolutely the worst book I have ever listened to. I paid for it and I didn't have another one downloaded so I did listen to it. I have listened to hundreds of books and this book made no sense. It was like it was written in a vacuum with no real knowledge of FBI, medical, etc. I'm sure I've listened to Catherine Coulter before and was never this disappointed.
