I found story very boring, almost put me asleep sev. times. Too many character to follow with difficult names. Felt I wasted my time and money on this one, waiting for something to happen.
One of the most memorable book I have ever listened too. Non stop action that took your senses over, not wanting to put it down, racing to the finish.
What in the most momentous or memorial part, just to many to count.?I hope Ben Coes has more books in his bag of tricks, although this one will be had to beat.
THE NARRATOR TRIED TO DO TOO MANY DIFFERENT VOICES, NOT DOING A VERY GOOD JOB WITH ANY OF THEM.
SUCH A POOR STORY, DO NOT CONSIDER ANY PARTICULAR ASPECTS.
NOT THAT I CAN THINK OF
TAKE OFF YOUR BUY LIST
Not a great book, not bac either. Nice story line involving two diff situations in the same story. Lots of action, not a whole lot of dead narration. ok book
Almost from the first sentence therre was non stop action. Really a mans book if that is what you enjoy. Very little in the way of side stories which so many books do that have very little bearing in the subject matter. Hardily recommended.
This book read like it was written byan amateur. A lot of extranious language that had very little meaning to the story. When reading a bookk , especally one of adventure and intrigue, I have no time to listen trivial talk. Will think twice before I listen to Mr. Austin.
The story of 4 female super US agents that are in the role of black op agents. They make more mistakes and still tell how great they are. The narrator with her diff. voices does an ok job, but the plot is thin and the girls sound like a bunch of Class B actors. A book I for sure would had never bought if I had known the story line and players. I hope all of Thors books are not like this, although I think I had bought another one his books and it was just as bad.
Had great expectations of this nove. Feel the first mistake was the choice of a narrator who did not do a good job in changing character voices, after a while everyone sounds the same. Without sounding chauvinistic I feel a male would be a better choice. Also there is a lot of irrelevant rhetoric that lends nothing to the story. This could have been a very intriging novel with the proper elements.
