This is a great book with the history of western medicine and how the things we do now came about . Every physician should listen to this.
One of the best listens I have done. With the three aviators the history of flight and it's impact on travel and war. I knew about Lindy, Doolittle , and Rickenbacker but the new facts I learned about their lives and contributions were numerous. Reader was great.
Have enjoyed all of Grishams books and this on is no different. Lots of twists and turns and hard to stop listening .
This was a very enjoyable book on why we had some of the medical advances that are so important to us. It may have been by accident but it took someone to see and understand it. A great read for any medical professional or anyone who enjoys science or serendipity
Gladwells books are always thought provoking and this one makes us think about the underdogs and how they have had success in overcoming their disadvantages. Maybe David should have been favored . Another great Gladwell book
I have been a member of audible for years and this is one of the best ever. The story is well researched and the history that occurs during the time makes it difficult to put down, Recommend this to anyone if you like rowing or not. Will not disappoint
This was one of the most enjoyable books I have ever listened to. I enjoyed the wine setting in the book but the humor and interaction was great. If looking for an escape from the world of pain and horror then this book won't disapoint. Scott Bick is the best
One of the best I have listened to. Not only did I enjoy the book but learned much history that would have never heard. A great listen
