Would you listen to Beyond Belief again? Why?

Probably no. It was good - real good. But I don't need to hear about the disturbed, sad and abused people of the Church.

What about Sandy Rustin’s performance did you like?

It was good. She sounded as if it was Jenna talking, easy to make a connection.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A big reaction. I did not know much about he church before the book. Since the book I have done quite about of surfing regarding Scientology and the members who have left and people who are into the religion..

    Any additional comments?

It has served as a good teaching tool when talking with my children and explaining to them the dangers of some people and there ideas and how easy it is to become stuck.and controlled.

A horrible storm off the cold coasts of 15th-century Iceland sends the Trinity crashing to shore, with nearly no survivors. For Ragna, the teenage daughter of a respected family who is betrothed to the dashing and wealthy Thorkell, the shipwreck presents a life-changing risk she cannot resist: a handsome sailor named Michael, who is seduced by her gentle singing during his stay in the hospital, then impregnates her and promptly disappears. Ragna is left barren from childbirth and stigmatized as a fallen woman.

A really good book, well translated, we'll read and well written. The book left me wanting more and was sad to reach the end. I would read more from this author. I personally liked the fact the it was a love story without all the usual graphic sex scenes found in romance books.

Kafka on the Shore follows the fortunes of two remarkable characters. Kafka Tamura runs away from home at 15, under the shadow of his father's dark prophesy. The aging Nakata, tracker of lost cats, who never recovered from a bizarre childhood affliction, finds his pleasantly simplified life suddenly turned upside down.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably no. It was wierd but not bad, just wierd.

Would you be willing to try another book from Haruki Murakami? Why or why not?

I don't know. There was alot of unimportant information that did nothing to enhance the book.

Which character – as performed by Sean Barrett and Oliver Le Sueur – was your favorite?

    The old guy, Nacamura something.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No

    Any additional comments?
