In The Jesus Storybook Bible, every story whispers his name. It tells the story beneath all the stories in the Bible.

    Story
What made the experience of listening to Watchers the most enjoyable?

The main characters, including the dog are so lovable. As the plot thickens and twists about, the characters grow and come into their own. The story is so detailed it becomes believable. Could this happen? Is it happening...somewhere?

What other book might you compare Watchers to and why?

It's like Frankenstein meets Benji-ish, with a Koontz twist.

Have you listened to any of J. Charles’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He is always great, and this was another dead-on performance!

Who was the most memorable character of Watchers and why?

The dog because he's still man's best friend, and yet he has a human awarenes, intelligence, and yet.... Better.

    Any additional comments?

This was so enjoyable, with adventure, love, friendship, and thought provoking. Koontz dares to write these awesome plots that challenge us to not be quite so naive, or even to challenge our apathy.

Kyle Riggs is snatched by an alien spacecraft sometime after midnight. The ship is testing everyone it catches and murdering the weak. The good news is that Kyle keeps passing tests and staying alive. The bad news is the aliens who sent this ship are the nicest ones out there.

Mark says: "Finally some ORIGINAL scifi action."

What did you love best about Swarm?

This amazing adventure starts off fast and keeps on going at a wonderful pace.

What did you like best about this story?

The story line is science fiction to the core! It's a believable theory to alien abductions.

Which character – as performed by Mark Boyett – was your favorite?

Kyle Riggs of coarse, who is professor turned commando, is pretty awesome. Crow, self appointed leader of a new fleet of spaceships, adds humour, and a touch of the renegade side of humanity.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! I tried, but couldn't make it.

    Any additional comments?

Mark Boyett performs brilliantly. The accents and characters changes are smooth and easy to listen to. Thank you for sharing your talent.

In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

    Story
Where does Divergent rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I've listened to some incredible books lately, but while this story was good and fast paced,I would say it was a little above average for me.

What other book might you compare Divergent to and why?

It compared with Hunger Games because of the futuristic setting, but the main characters aren't as easy to like.

Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She's wonderful, no matter what she does.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I thought it was sad to think families could be split so easily.

    Any additional comments?

I was interested enough to buy the second book and am enjoying it as well.
