  • A New Earth: Awakening To Your Life's Purpose

Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one. In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are and learn to live and breathe freely.

    "Excellent"
    Overall

Eckhart Tolle, is enlighted. What a gift to have such a teacher living and offering his insights. In my experience the truth is simple. In "A New Earth" as in "The Power of Now", Eckhart's words are simple yet profound. Living in the "Now" is slowly become a way of life for me and "A New Earth" is another incredible work which greatly facilitates the process. Beneficial even for first time readers or listeners of Eckhart Tolle.

Worry, doubt, confusion, depression, anger, and feelings of condemnation: all these are attacks on the mind. If you suffer from negative thoughts, take heart! Joyce Meyer has helped millions win these all-important battles, and she can help you too. This beloved author and minister shows you how to deal with thousands of thoughts you have every day and focus your mind to think the way God thinks.

    "Excellent content and message-average narrator"
    Overall

Regarding her message; "as a man thinketh in his heart so shall he be", inspiring, helpful, and uplifting. Regarding her delivery; I've listened to and read Joyce Meyers for over ten years now and her direct no nonsense approach/delivery is very accessable. She makes her point quickly, directs the reader to the scripture upon which it is based and brings the scripture to life by relating it to a personal experience.

This title is one of several which I listen to first thing in the morning when I'm on the treadmill and is an incredibly inspiring way to begin the day. This book can change your life if (as the book directs) you monitor your thoughts/your thought life.

One caveat, the narrator Pat Lentz, has a slight lisp which initially was a bit distracting. Stay focused on the message and this distraction can be overcome. Highly recommended
