The Last Stand of Fox Company is a fast-paced and gripping account of heroism and self-sacrifice in the face of impossible odds. The authors have conducted dozens of firsthand interviews with the battle's survivors, and they narrate the story with the immediacy of such classic accounts of single battles as Guadalcanal Diary, Pork Chop Hill, and Black Hawk Down.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I honestly will be listening to this book again because of how it made me feel both during and after this read. Like, why hasn't there been any movies recently that have been about the Korean War? Yes, it is still going on but that is more apparent in the lives of these Marines even today. I feel almost like some of them have never left that cold and its not fair that stories like this are not as well known as some other battles studied throughout high school and college class today.

From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Would you listen to American Sniper again? Why?

This autobiography was absolutely amazing! It follows a great yet humble man threw his journey of War, Buds and life on the home front.. Its truly is an eye opener to the challenges the families of the men that fight for us go threw and yet he still manages to pay homage to the Marines he served with threw countless battles. He focuses on a few major ones but over all highly recommend this book..

P.S. Obama should have put the flags at half Mast for him.. He did it for Whitney H after all.

Have you listened to any of John Pruden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Never have but love his story telling.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

His gratefulness and Respect for the Marines.
