Very well written.
If you like books that are beautifully written, with great stories and don't mind not loving the characters this may be for you...
Fantastic reader... Great story...
What didn't I like is a better question: Nothing.
The paperwing description is gorgeous..
This is worth the 18 dollar ticket
This is the first (new to me) fantasy I have heard/listened to in a couple of years where I lasted past the first chapter.. If you like this kind of stuff, no mistakes here.
Absolutely... if you like bernard cornwell. He is wonderfully consistent. A great listen/read.
Fantastic characters, great dialogue...
a story of some kind?
No ... This was the last one I will ever read
It was alright but not great
The first book in the series was fantastic!!!!
There is a reason this took him so long to write...He didn't have a story worth putting down... The fact is, few people do.
More story... less dialogue
It just did not seem to go anywhere..
It needed a much stronger story.
Another author... a different book!
A new reader
Honestly... just cut the pages out and burn them.
Yes... if he was a fan.
Great dialogue among characters.
Different voices for different characters
I would not make this into a film
No and No..
Neither the writer nor the reader managed to catch my interest..
A different reader...
It is not the character so much as the story itself.. It lacks detail and clear connectivity...
It needed a better pace. It also needed a clear story line. The reader was good but just not good enough to give it life.
Clearly this is a book for extreme fans of the series....
Not sure... I will start searching now.
Steven Pacey maybe.. I am sure there are many readers who would have done a better job.
None of them are memorable
I read the first 8 books and my interest in the series began to lag.. I was still curious how the whole thing would end though... I thought perhaps that Sanderson would bring some new life to the story.... But no..
The story is fine, although it feels a bit too scripted.
yes... the narration was excellent.
There wasn't one of those moments...
If you like Card, you will like this book.. But it is an extension of his previous work, rather than something truly new.
