I loved this as an audiobook because listening to the book made me slow down and savor all the beautiful descriptions of the mountains, wilderness, weather, etc. It makes you feel like you are right there. When reading a print book I sometimes read too fast and skim over the descriptions.
I love the setting (western mountains and wilderness) and the action was non-stop.
Characters and humor.
Western dialect and way with words.
It is very, very long and I'm not even 1/3 through yet. Sometimes the volume drops a bit but that is the only problem I have had.
Unforgettable, heartwarming, and inspiring.
Of course it was the main character, Atticus. His friend the author, Tom, made him come to life as I listened to the story. I have a little dog that I walk every morning while listening to books on my ipod. My dog became Atticus to me.
It was heartfelt and loving towards his dog and his father.
I cried several times but the one I remember is when Atticus received his award.
Since reading this book I've searched the internet for more pictures of Atticus and wish I could meet him in person.
Yes, if they like a wonderful romance.
There were many, many wonderful moments. I just love a happy ending and great romance, along with lots of excitement and "bad guys" who get what they deserve.
It is one of Nora Roberts best.
Maybe. Most of my friends don't like this type of story.(I am a 70 year old women and my friends read biographies and romance..)
Rain. He is smart, thoughtful and well prepared and likes adventure.
No. This was my first.
No, I just couldn't stop listening.
