Rebekkah Barrow never forgot the attention her grandmother Maylene bestowed upon the dead of Claysville, the small town where Bek spent her adolescence. There wasn't a funeral that Maylene didn't attend, and at each one Rebekkah watched as Maylene performed the same unusual ritual: She took three sips from a silver flask and spoke the words "Sleep well, and stay where I put you." Now Maylene is dead, and Bek must go back to the place she left a decade earlier. She soon discovers that Claysville is not just the sleepy town she remembers....

City of Fallen Angels take up where City of Glass left off. With Valentine out of the way, Clary thought she and Jace could finally be together--but when someone starts murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to destroy the new peace between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, she realizes the past can never be left entirely behind.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This was the worst narrated book, they didn't pronounce anything the se way the first three books did and the tones were off suddenly certain characters had accents just a mess. Got two chapters I. And bought the book so I could finish reading it.

    Any additional comments?

Honestly everything about this book was amazing hut I won't be downloading anymore of the series unless they have the same narrates from the first three doing it.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

Where does Gone Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the most gripping book i have read other then The Maza Runner seriers, I love the way it was written in past tense, and future, and present all at the same time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Gone Girl?

The way in which you find out that the first few chapters of diary entries for the wife are actually all made up and lies.

Have you listened to any of Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never heard this two before but they made this book so easy to listen to kept my attention and were amazing narrators they work and sound so cohesive like glue and glitter. I will have to see what i can find book wise they have both done as well. Also they sounded like they would be these characters and thats whats fitting.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The end, not what i expected and so what was perfect, cant wait for a sequel.....

Lauren DeStefano makes a stellar debut with this chilling tale. The first installment of a planned trilogy, Wither introduces listeners to a bleak world where a mysterious disease kills most women by the age of 20 and men by the age of 25. Like many girls her age, 16-year-old Rhine has been captured and forced into marriage in an effort to keep the population growing. But, despite her new husband’s wealth, she wants nothing more than to escape her servitude and return home before time runs out.

What did you like best about Wither? What did you like least?

the main idea was a brilliant, and had it been written with a more complex story line i would have more likely purchase the second book.

also the narraters voice for the main character was not what i expected however towards the end i appreciated how she read the main characters voice.

i did listen all the way through the end as i wanted to find out what happened. I was intrigued enough to read it through which is more then i can say about previous books.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great book for a teen, and thus it was written exactly on point for the genre.
