An overall good audio book experience. Rebus, well-done performance, and a good mystery. Enjoyable listen.
Terrific reading highlighting the subtleties of Conrad's prose. Well done.An incredibly villainous villain and a naive hero.
A ship, a treasure, a mysterious woman, a naive sailor all mixed together with Perez-Reverte's fine story telling. Not everyone is a fan of Perez-Reverte. I am. Great nautical tale. Guidall's reading brought characters to life and kept the slow-building tension. Well done.
Scott Brick does a marvelous job of reading. This story, even though from another time, is a great read.
A great listen to a well told tale. Narration was lively and character voices distinct.
I kept getting distracted by other things. Not a good sign for a story that holds your attention. Twists and turns often seem contrived.
McKinty at his best. Everything works toward the moving ending. Geratd Doyle a perfect match for the story.
Great story. Empathetic protagonist. Excellent narration. Fantastic combination. This is what I look for in audio.
Clear and engaging reading of a classic le Carre. Great character voices especially when switching back and forth among characters..
