"The best of Bova"
I loved this audio. Having heard all of the Voyager series I quickly became a Ben Bova fan. This audio is even better than Voyagers in my opinion. It was truly riveting in storyline, charaterizationa and suspense that glued me to my ipod until the end. I hope Grant Archer will be repeated in a sequel to this.
"Beautiful Story!"
There is nothing quite so engaging as a love story between dog and man.
Every character in the book was real to me so difficult to say which one I liked best.
No
Oh yes, it made me cry for sure, very emotional
If you are an animal lover a must read and if you are not, still a must read!
""If you like dogs". . ."
This was a great book. Well narrated, good story and so much heart impossible not to love!
All about bravery, honor and love.
"Breathtaking!"
This is one of the most enjoyable thrillers I have listened to in a long time. The scope is breathtaking, the topic all encompassing.
Horror, tears, laughter and the sense of something real moved me throughout the story. It was difficult to grasp how the author did this. Otherwordly for sure.
Scott Brick was spectaculor in his narration, the characters he portrayed came alive under his masterful narration style.
Listen to this, you won't be disappointed. Warning: This should be listened too with both ears and mind without interruptions to feel the full flow and impact of the story.
"Very Entertaining"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and especially enjoyed the narration with both female and male parts. It made the book come alive.
The man character had shades of "Jack Reacher" to me. I don't know if anyone else felt that, but I am looking forward to more of him in upcoming books.
"Disappointing"
I was looking so forward to this book, I guess it was bound to be a disappointment.
The characters to me were so very shallow, nothing compared to the authors previous exciting books with the very unique qualities of Pendergast. I was hoping for a new compelling lead character, which may have been a bit better if the narration was with a different narrator. All in all very predictable I couldn't even get through the entire book it became so boring.
"Intelligent and Compelling"
The first book of this type I have ever listened to, but on hearing the sample, it captured my attention.
I found it to be fascinating. The knowledge about food, the food industry and most importantly about the way your brain works in regards to food stimulus is amazing. You can hardly listen to this book and not gain an 'awareness' concerning what and how much you eat. I like to call it "Food Mindfulness". Knowledge is power, so if you are a little short on personal power over food listen to this book and get it back!
The food industry wants to make money and really doesn't give a damn about you, just how much you eat of their food and how often you keep coming back for more. They have few restrictions on their advertising. It is our responsibility to gain the knowledge in a free society, and the author has gone to great lengths to assist us.
The narration was excellent for this type of book. Scientific studies pointing to the real truth is always a pleasure.
"Excellent finale of the Camel Club"
As with the other Camel Club books, this was wonderful. I listened to it in one sitting. Many surprises and story twists.
"A Very Enjoyable Listen"
I have enjoyed most of Baldacci's books, however the Camel Club series, while taking awhile to take to the theme, are my favorites.
"Thoroughly Entertaining"
This is the first book I have listened to by David Rosenfeldt, and already downloading my next one.
Great fun, excellent plot and the first audible book I have laughed out loud with.
